LOT 1 – Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars | Art of Cellaring Weekend: Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars & Stanly Ranch
Hello I’m Marcus Notaro, winemaker at Stag's
Leap Wine Cellars. We have a wonderful lot to offer
for Collective Napa Valley this year. It's 2023
and so we're celebrating the 50th vintage of the Paris winning 1973 Stag's
Leap Vineyard Cabernet. That, of course, won the tasting in 1976. So we're going to do a deep dive into this
vineyard, the Stag's Leap Vineyard.
This vineyard has a wonderful history
and has produced some excellent wines in the cellar. So we're going to celebrate
the art of cellaring as well. We're going to put up down Auberge
Stanley Ranch down there in Carneros for two nights for two couples, and we're going to have you up to the winery. We're going to do an extensive vineyard
tour of Stag’s Leap Vineyard, come inside
for an eight vintage vertical going back to the eighties, the nineties,
along with some current releases.
Have dinner together
with our executive chef Travis Westrope. He’s going to put together
a wonderful pairing dinner for you. You also are going to walk away
then with six magnums going back to the eighties, the nineties,
along with some current releases from the SLV Vineyard. Dinner at Bear
Restaurant back there at Stanley Ranch. So a wonderful weekend, a wonderful time, get to learn a lot about the SLV Vineyard,
get to taste the bunch of wines, and I can't wait to see here
in Napa Valley go for it!.
