Cut the leftover meat and freeze it in an airtight containers. Turkey will stay fresh for a couple weeks after being frozen.When you want to cook a pumpkin, stand it on its end and slice it in half. Put the halves down on the baking sheets. Add a few drops of water to each baking sheet, then allow the pumpkin to bake for about one hour at 350 degrees.When using fresh herbs like parsley or dill, bundle them together and cut them with scissors instead of chopping. This will keep them drier and lighter than chopped with a knife.Seasoning should be applied in small amounts throughout the cooking process rather than all at once. This way, you’re giving the food most of the flavoring and are making the best from your ingredients.You should clean your dishes as you use them to cook.Do not dress your guests’ salads. Serve the dressing on the side and allow your guests to dress it to their liking. The amount dressing that people prefer on their salad varies so allow guests to add their own dressing. Also, try and include different types of dressings.Use a substantial amount of salt in the water used to cook pasta. This helps to add flavor to the pasta to take on the seasoning more efficiently. Salting cooked pasta will not be as effective in enhancing the flavor.In order for herbs and spices to remain fresh and flavorful, they need to be kept in an area that is cool and dim. Keeping your spices in warm places, such as above your stove, will really take a lot of the flavor away.As was already stated, good cooks are always learning. The joy of cooking is not just about cooking, but learning more about different foods and methods of cooking. It’s also about sharing what you know with others. Cooking is about sharing tips and secrets with your friends and family.Many veggies and herbs leave strong scents and plant oils on your cutting board that are very difficult to remove completely. Label the ending of your chopping board by marking it with ink. This will help you to identify the different sides of the board.
