You can store dried tomatoes in an olive oil filled jar. Add fresh herbs for seasoning. Kept in the refrigerator, these tomatoes will keep for a couple of weeks.

If the recipe has called for water, you could easily use chicken broth, beef broth, or cooking liquids.If your favorite recipes call for milk, try using buttermilk, yogurt or sour cream. Using different liquids can increase nutrition and give a standby dish a new flavor.

Make the most of your holiday feast by reusing the leftover turkey. Instead, cut them up and put them in an airtight package and place it in your freezer. Cooked turkey that has been frozen can be enjoyed for weeks by defrosting and using for soups, salads and sandwiches.

Once the oven reaches 425 degrees, bake them for approximately four or five minutes. After the butter and other juices begin bubbling, serve it smoking hot along with some toasted baguettes.

An excellent cooking is to use brine. Soak any poultry in brine mixture for at least an hour before cooking to enhance the flavor.

To make sure you know when the food is done, set the timer on the oven, but set a watch timer as well. An athletic stopwatch hanging from your neck or a watch timer on your wrist both offer the advantage of proximity, assuring you will hear them go off regardless of your physical location at the time.

Use soft butter not melted butter when you are creaming sugar and butter for cookies. If it did melt, put it in your freezer for a couple of minutes so that it starts to harden just a bit, or, put the dough in the refrigerator once you are done mixing everything.
